I will share a practical workflow for automating the synchronization of ‘brownfield’ network data from LibreNMS directly into NetBox. Addressing the pain of manual data entry, I will demonstrate how I utilized Python to bulk-import devices, interfaces, and cabling. Additionally, I will briefly showcase how I architected a FastAPI backend to handle ongoing device data synchronization. This talk will show the community how to close the loop between live network state and NetBox, turning static documentation into an active, self-updating Source of Truth.
