Meet Natalia Kepets, the Engineer Reshaping QA at NetBox Labs

Meet Natalia Kepets, our Software Engineer in Test based in New York City. Natalia focuses on making sure NetBox Enterprise releases ship at high quality without slowing the team down. A big part of her work is automating manual QA processes so the team can move faster without cutting corners.

“Day to day, I’m building and improving tests, working closely with the team, and looking for ways to make our testing more efficient,” Natalia shares. The work spans both the structural side of QA and the practical reality of helping engineers ship with confidence.

What drew her to NetBox Labs was a combination of approach and people. “I was really drawn to the team’s innovative and honest approach to building and delivering products,” she explains. “What made the biggest impact, though, was the people I met during the interview process. The NetBox Labs team and culture stood out right away. It felt like a place where I could grow and be supported, which made the decision easy.”

The thing that excites her most right now is the role AI can play in QA. “It opens up a lot of possibilities, and I’m especially interested in finding the right balance between speed and reliability,” Natalia says. “Shaping how we use AI in testing is definitely a challenge, but it’s a really exciting one to be part of.”

What she enjoys most is something she has not always had elsewhere. “In many places, QA, especially automation, tends to stay in the background. Here the QA process is taken seriously and everyone is involved,” she shares. “It feels like a true team effort, which is something I haven’t experienced to this extent before.”

Ask Natalia where the company values show up in her work, and she points to the broader QA automation effort. “The team is always looking for simple, innovative ways to improve automation, including using AI and better tools for creating environments,” she shares. “There’s also a strong focus on making these solutions useful for others, not just our team, which really speaks to Own It, Keep It Simple, and Community First.”
