Over the first of couple years of NetBox Cloud, we’ve deployed most instances in our “standard” cloud regions: Virginia, United States and Dublin, Ireland. Adoption of NetBox Cloud has accelerated dramatically in 2024, with thousands of NetBox instances now deployed and serving customers across the globe. In line with the growing demand for NetBox Cloud, and the technical and regulatory requirements of many of our customers, we’re excited today to introduce four new standard regions for NetBox Cloud: Sydney, Australia; central Canada; London, UK; and Frankfurt, Germany.
While we’ve always supported custom NetBox Cloud regions for our Enterprise tier customers, custom regions come with additional cost and complexity. In line with our mission to make it easier for teams to build and manage complex networks, we are always looking for opportunities to eliminate barriers and streamline the path to modern network management and automation. Reducing costs and enabling teams to easily deploy NetBox Cloud in more parts of the world is directly in line with that goal.
These new standard regions are available in all our commercial tiers. Our free plan remains available in our original Virginia and Ireland regions. We will continue to expand NetBox Cloud’s footprint across new standard regions as warranted by demand.
