We are excited to announce that Mark Coleman, Shannon Weyrick, Richard Boucher, and Jordan Villarreal from NetBox Labs will be attending NANOG 87 in Atlanta this February 13th – 15th! In the call for presenters, NANOG was looking for presentations focused on network automation, the future of networking, networking research & education, security, and networking-based tutorials. While NANOG hasn’t released the final conference schedule yet, it should shape up to be a great event for all attendees, virtual and in-person.
Also, the weekend leading into NANOG 87 they will be hosting a hackathon that focuses on “interacting with sources of truth.” Lead NetBox maintainer Jeremy Stretch will be in attendance offering both project ideas and dedicated support hours for everyone participating the hackathon. It will be a great opportunity to experiment with NetBox plugins, integrations, and lots more.
Finally, we’ll also be attending the co-located DNS OARC 40, where Shannon will be giving a talk on Orb.
If you’ll be on-site for the main conference, keep an eye out for the NetBox Labs team! They’ll be looking to chat about all things network automation and observability. Maybe even a few new NetBox Labs T-Shirts as well…
