Spares Pools

A spares pool is a collection of spare equipment held in reserve at a specific site or location. Each pool groups related spare items for a particular storage area, facility, or purpose.

Spare items drawn from a pool can be linked to BOM objects to record that an installation requirement was fulfilled from existing inventory rather than from a new purchase.

Fields

Name

A unique name for the spares pool.

Site

The site at which the pool is held.

Location

The location within the site where the pool is held. Optional.
